I started using Smoke Assist just about one month ago (Jan.) and I cannot keep unit charged. It only works one time and then I have to charge it. The refills also only work once – not equal to a pack of cigarettes. i have made repeated calls to Customer Service and they keep telling me they are surprised and will send another battery and not concerned when I tell them the cigarette becomes very hot and burns my lips. I just heard from a friend that a man in Florida suffered terrible burns and had some teeth blown out when he was smoking an electronic cigarette that blew up in his face. Also suffered terrible property damage. Smoke Assist has assured me it was not one of their electric cigarettes. Should we believe them? I should have done some research before this purchase. Live and learn. I definitely believe there is a class action suit here.

The product does what it’s intended to do. My NJOY works well. However here are the cons:
-Cartridges are somewhat fragile; the covering has separated from the tip, exposing the sponge that holds the liquid nicotine.

-Flavor could be better.

That’s about it. It’s not a bad experience at all. I see a lot of posts with “horror stories” and I’m pretty sure that’s some kind of rivalry internet public relations strategy. There’s absolutely no way those types of things could happen (cough cough… Janeen). Sure it’s not an absolute perfection, but its a pretty standard experience and product.

I am sort of underwhelmed by the product. When it works it works really well having said that the batteries that came in my starter kit are horrid. I charge them in the pack the light eventually goes out I use it once or twice and it blinks about 15 times. And I don’t get a great deal of smoke. If I do the priming puffs it seems to get better but that is kind of irritating. I don’t have any experience with the other brands but if the folks that do are giving this a 5 then the market has not yet really gotten the technology it should have.

Caveat** I was only able to get the short battery, older kit from Walgreens maybe that means it is bad tech or just old stock that is no longer up to the standard. Anyhow, I’ll just say I am honestly disappointed.

the times i actually use the smoke stik it is ok .. it has somewhat sweet taste to it almost like im smoking a swisher sweet… tastes nothing like a real cigarette… so i find myself falling back to the taste that i enjoy which in turn i begin smoking again. the other downfall is the stick is very heavy .. i dont know how many times i have dropped it just for the fact that my fingers have a hard time holding it up… i also notice that after using it for a day my mouth is very dry and the tip of my tongue almost feels like i burned it on hot soup or something.. i might be using to high of a nicotine cartridge tho… not sure

I’ve used Blu disposables before without any problem, but this Njoy from 7-11 made me break out in hives. I’m not sure if it’s the propylene glycol or what, but these had a nasty effect on me and I ended up having to take 3 Benadryl just to tone down the awful itching. The vapor volume was also pretty poor and it seemed to be a cheaply-made Asian product.

I have a serious problem with n joy I was a beleiver of ur product and used it for wor..I recently have had back surgery and used the product to quit smokin do to my spinal fusion today I got a brand new cartridge out of my bottle and had it with me in my pocket I took a few puffs and I noticed it was hot after noticin i t had burnt thru the cartridge and burnt my lip and finger so I took it apart and it had burnt thru the fabric and all the thru the plastic cartridge and there’s and pretty good size hole in it that also had burnt me lip and finger…..I can not believe after I have told all of my co workers and freinds and family how well I liked this and they all wanted one that this happen to me I have read thru all the papers that came with it and nothin said to watch out that u might get burnt I would like to hear from u guys as there’s diff a big problem with this it doesn’t shut off I noticed after I layed it on my table as the draft went by it it would light up like some one was takin a puff this is y it had. To of burnt me like it might of been lightin up in my pocket and when I took a few hits it burnt me man oh man I have a blisterd lip and one on my finger I have takin pictures of the both of them and will also send u a picture of the cartridge and my lips and finger I was such a beleiver till today I am so sad that ill have to struggle with the not smokin thing now I am scared it will do it again and my lips are burnt and cant even press down with them they hurt very bad u guys really need to check this problem out b4 america has to go thru what I’ve went thru today..

First, I would give White Cloud cartridges 5 on taste and draw, good vapor. However, the claim that they are equivalent to 2 packs of cigs is way over stated. I am a half a pack to 3/4 a pack smoker and have tried other brands after switching to e-cigs. I have been vaping the V2 and tried the WC catridges at 5 for 20.00 + after shipping. Nice taste and great vapor but I have gone through the same amount as with the V2 catridges at half or 2/3 the cost. WC likes to promote that they are really the same cost once you realize that they are twice the amount of vapes or puffs as others. This is simply not true, false, not even close. They have a great product and customer service but at over twice the cost and in some cases 3X as much as starter kits for other comparable brands. If you have money to spare, then the good taste and draw alone is the only benefit for this company.

Thank you for your reviews of the eCigs.
They have helped me in determining the brand of eCig that I will be trying. I had hoped to already be using one but the service at South Beach Smoke leaves much to be desired. I ordered a starter kit from them and was told that it would arrive in 5-7 business days. After 5 days I called them when the tracking number they provided for my shipment failed to provide any information on the UPS website. They said it would be here in the next 2 days. Two days passed and still no shipment. I called them back and they gave me the “It was shipped” speach and suggested I call UPS. I called UPS, they refered me to the USPS whom they had turned the package over to. So I called ther Postal Service. They said they never recieved it from UPS and refered me back to them. I called UPS again. They said the tracking number provided by South Beach was not valid and refered me back to South Beach. By now I’m getting dizzy running around in circles. I called South Beach again. Once again they tried to pass me off to UPS. If my package does arrive in the next 5 years or so I’ll ship it back to them. I’ve already ordered from SmokeTip. They also only seem to like favorable reviews on their FaceBook page because I made a post there earlier today expressing my displeasure with their service and it has since been removed. Just a heads up.

The NJoy disposable cigarettes are cheaper than some of the others I have seen, but it is still not worth it. The taste is bad, the after taste is bad, and it feels as though you are sucking on air. The vapor is very thin when compared to other disposable brands. I am not sure why 7-11 even stocks this brand.

V2 Cigs has just ran out of Menthol cartridges on six of the last eight orders I have placed and it has taken a long time to get them in. It has become a regular occurance and I thought it was just on the menthols but after talking to people I have referred some of them have gone elsewhere because they are haveing the same problems with different flavors. I got a whole batch of dry filters on one order and they do not refund they tell you 50.00 is the maximum credit they can offer for bad filters. My suggestion is to order in small quantites to avoid that problem. V2 must be poorly managed to not be able to keep stock with the number of orders they supposedly get. I know that someone else out there must carry the same menthol as v2. Does anyone know of somewhere else to get these filters in that flavor???

Wow. Scary reviews. I called to order my Smoke Assist, but after giving my info I told the guy on the phone I still had some questions, and not to send the Smoke Assist. He assured me that I needed to make an additional call to complete the transaction, and before I made the call to ask my questions, I changed my mind and didn’t call. Surprise, 2 weeks later(part of my question involved express shipping)it arrived. It works fine, no probs, but they were supposed to send me the car charger for free. I called to make sure I was not on any auto-ship plan, complained a little and was told they’d send the car charger. Seriously, that wasn’t a big deal at all since it charges from my iPod charger. I just didn’t like that they sent it to me without PROPER authorization. Glad I didn’t have any more invested. The BS that they “don’t market it as a quit smoking” device is crap. They definitely do, when it is just an alternate nicotine delivery device. And whats the crap above about “no nicotine”. Somebody wasn’t paying attention…

Tried this brand after no stock of Blu cig disposable. Big mistake. Poor quality. Stopped working after less than 25 hits. Popped and hissed the entire time. For me, Njoy is a waste of money and could be dangerous if the popping sound comes from the battery.

i live in california and picked up a starter pack for like 40 bucks at a smoke shop and not online so i am pretty pleased with the product and didn’t get ripped off like a lot of people seem to have been. the only fishy thing is none of the websites listed on the product are impossible to get to.

Just switched to Blu Cigs after several years of smoking the regulars. I have to say it was a little weird at first, but I’m extremely impressed with how much it really fights the cravings. I’ve since quit all regular cigarettes and have noticed a huge difference in my run times. The FDA may not have weighed in on these things yet, but I can tell you from a current and loyal customer…they really do work.

If you are skeptical about switching, go to their website and check out the retail locations…typically a CVS or Walgreens somewhere nearby. Go get one of the disposable ones for usually less then $8-$9. You can try out their product without having to invest in the mainline starter packs. I’m pretty sure you’ll be impressed enough to switch right away!

I have been a smoker for 15 years. I researched all electronic cigarettes and saw that V2 cigs had one of the highest ratings. I decided to take a chance despite the negative reviews about their customer service. I ordered the starter kit and included a note that said I wanted a pack of the medium strength, along with the full strength. I got my order within 5 days and my order was perfectly placed; no mistakes. Even included the medium strength as I requested. So I must say, I have nothing negative to say about the V2 cigs or the customer service. I have had the V2 cigs for about 3 days now and have not craved a regular cigarette since. I love this product!

This is my first ecig. I was a regular pack/day for almost 15 years, then that dropped to under 1 pack for two more yrs. I stopped smoking tobacco cigs immediately when I began using my V2 ecig. They sat around in my house untouched for weeks, until I finally remembered to throw them away. I also realized I don’t smoke as much… when I lit a tobacco cig I always felt an obligation to finish it. With an ecig, since there is no set start and finish of a smoke, I have just a few puffs then put it down. It’s crazy! I thought I might sit in front of the TV puffing all night, but it’s the opposite. I barely touch it. By now I would have smoked 9 packs of tobacco cigs, and I’ve only smoked approx 3 cartridges. I even gave away my extra ecig because I wanted my friend to try it, hoping it would help her!!
I have no complaints about the V2–the product is excellent in how it delivers nicotine/flavor, the vapor, etc. As far as flavors, no complaints. To me the sarhara light doesn’t taste like a marlboro light cig, but it’s still good! Vanilla light is excellent. I have now ordered a variety flavor pack in ZERO nicotine! I don’t imagine I will ever stop vaping, but who says i have to have nicotine to do it? On a practical side, the service and shipping were fine. They were out of one flavor, but they notified me by email to ask how I wanted to handle that, which I appreciated. Shipping took one week from FL to TX. In summary, if the product is good, and it’s positively impacting my health (far above and beyond what I expected, I might add! , I have no complaints!!! I will post back if I run into any problems.

just got the deluxe kit yesterday so far everything works only have tried the disposible blue for comparison blue has more vapor hit but tates like chocolate south beach has more realistic tobacco flavor but draws more air and less satisfying after a few hits got 20 more days to evaluate before return policy runs out price was good and customer service by phone was great so far hope to get used to the airer taste then will definitly keep if not maybe greensmoke? my advise keep trying differnt products as they are all uniqe just make sure the company has that 30 day return policy oh yea 30 year smoker of marlboro these products will help you quit if that is your goal just gotta find the one that works for you

I am a V2 Cigs user and have mostly good to write. Except for the fact that very often I get cartridges that malfunction or seem to be dried up and empty upon opening. The company does not guarantee the cartridges and the fail rate is often higher than the company indicates.

The battery does not last a full day unless you really use it just occasionally. I used to smoke 15-20 analogs a day and my battery last about 1/2 to 3/4 day. Other than that, the Smoke Stik is a good choice. The cartomizers are of a very good quality and I refill them up to 8 times. No burning at all like in other models that I have tried. Just wished they would sell the blank cartos since their e-liquid is ok but I prefer a more flavorful taste.

I’ve been smoking a pack and a half of 100mm, menthol cigarettes every day. I’ve switched to NJoy. Their cartridges last longer than a pack of regular cigarettes. It also indicates on their web site that the refill (5 cartridges) is approximately equivalent to a carton of cigarettes which holds pretty true for me – last a week to 10 days. Menthol flavor is good; smoking is smooth. Price is reasonable. Only issue for me (and I suspect it’s the same for all e-cigs) is the weight of the unit. Whole pack of cigarettes doesn’t weigh as much.

I purchased a kit and loved it so much, I ordered a second one. The second kit came with two batteries that wouldn’t hold a charge and would barely produce any vapor – these were defective out of the box. Their response to a customer service inquiry came with no apology, just a condescending not about keeping the units clean (I was never even able to use them), and instructions to return them at my expense for working replacements.

Half of my purchase never worked and they wanted me to pay more. Fat chance – returning for a full refund and finding another product. No quality control, and terrible customer service. Not recommended.

I bought a disposable Blu e-cig, and I love it! I had the choice with the disposable of menthold or traditional tabacco, but I chose traditional (never been a fan of menthols). The disposable is $8 @ Walgreens, and it’s ready to go right out of the box. The box stated that you get the equivalent of a pack and a half of cigarettes out of one disposable Blu disposable. The taste is amazing. It alsmost has coffee taste to it, you can really feel it in the back of your throat and there is absolutely no smell in the air, not smelly fingers, no lighting it, nothing. I’m going to get the whole kit soon, but wanted to try the disposable first. I am so impressed with it. I am definitely going for the kit. I love how the battery recharges in the pack so you’re never left w/o a battery when you’re out and about. I love the look and feel of the Blu. Also, if you get the kit it has a cool social aspect. When you have the Blu with you and you get close to someone else who is vaping Blu’s, a little vibration goes off so you can bond. Just a small fun extra feature. This is a really cool product, and I really like that almost all the parts are made in the US. Oh, and one more thing, the black one is so cool looking. It lights up blue at the end and it’s matte black colored with embossed swirly pattern on the long part. It’s just the coolest and I think best quality for the price.

I bought the Cirrus 3…What an awesome company (customer service) and product. When I received it, I wasn’t disappointed. I had done a lot of research and bought based on several factors. This product even seems to get better with time as the more I use it, the more I enjoy it and want to keep using it again and again. I have to actually limit myself or I’d be using it all the time. The product is pricey, but if quality is what you want, it is definitely worth it.

This is my third letter to this company regarding my refund. Any persons out there that would like to file a class action please contact me at sharenwashingtonb@clear.net. Here is my letter:

Dear Ms. Parra,

I am highly unpleased with your company and how you are handling my refund. I have been communicating with your company for the last eight months regarding my refund. I have faxed to Mr. James Higgins my bank statements from February – July 2011 to show that no money from Smoke Assist was uploaded to my debit card.

On June 20, 2011 I faxed to Mr. Higgins a copy of my February statement (this letter is also enclosed) to show now money was posted. On July 5, 2011 I re-faxed to Mr. Higgins my transaction history for the months requested (Feb – July, 2011). On July 14, 2011 your company stated that they will mail me a check, because the money was not deposited onto my prepaid debit card. I have enclosed the email from your company stating that I will receive my refund check in the next 3 to 4 weeks. To this date I have not received my refund. I have spoken to your company every week since March and now I am hearing that the money was posted in April. I am resending the April statement along with February and March and all other communications to your company and from your company regarding my refund.

I spoke to your company on October 5, 2011 and I was asked to fax my April statement because it showed that it was posted. Today, October 11, I called Smoke Assist to obtain your address so that I can mail the copies requested. I was told by an operator (Heidi), that Smoke Assist received my April statement and now they need May and June’s statements. What kind of game is your company playing? Then what after I send these statements will you be asking for July through October? She also stated that after you receive May and June, which you ALREADY have, there will be an investigation. Do you honestly think that I am trying to steal my money from you? I am so angry right now I am getting sick. The money you have cost me sending these statements and the countless calls and unsound apologies has caused me to have headaches among other stress issues because of your company’s incompetence to send me my MONEY!!!

I am not a rich person. I bought your electronic cigarettes to try to stop smoking, unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the chemicals and returned you product in a timely matter. What is the problem for you to send me my money in a timely matter, it has been 8 months! The only investigation you need to do is within YOUR COMPANY. I have done everything your company has requested and you have done NOTHING, but give me the run around.

The only 2 reasons i gave this product 4 stars not 5 is because on my first order the battery broke with in 60 days. The other is because the filters are a little inconsistant, some last longer than others and the variation in taste from one to the next is not always the same. The biggest complaint which is not product related is the delivery time is terrible. Twice i paid extra to get it shipped in 2 days and it was a week. My advise is don’t pay the extra because it is shipped the same no matter what you pay. If it’s in stock expect a one week delivery

due to Mayor Bloomberg’s obnoxious cigarette taxes in NYC, the price of cigarettes jumped from around 5 dollars to over anywhere around 15 in some parts of the city. 10 days ago I switched to SmokeStik and haven’t looked back. Good “Smoke”, OK taste. Got 4 stars only because battery life on the original model is a little weak.

I had Blu in the past and I was pretty satisfied before now. This year I got a new starter kit for my boyfriend and I, extremely disappointed in where they headed. The batteries do not last near to 100 puffs, but that may be because I have to drag hardcore on it to get any smoke. The Cherry Crush ones seem to be the only flavor that has smoke when I puff it. Even though I like the flavor, I don’t like that it’s the only decent flavor that produces any kind of smoke. I feel like they half-ass fill the cartridges. They never last 300 puffs, not even close. The product is terrible, I do not recommend it at all anymore. Tonight, I just had a cartridge that was brand new and didn’t produce any smoke whatsoever. I wasted a whole battery trying to get it to go and it never happened. I put in another new cartridge and that worked immediately. So I got ripped off one cartridge, definitely not worth the $12 for the cartridge pack. That’s not even all…. one of my batteries, not even a couple months old, is already deteriorating and not working properly. The light just kind of goes out and it stops working, it doesn’t even need charging. Which is yet another problem. Even the charger pack isn’t working, again not even a couple months old. It’s not charging batteries nor does it seem to be charging when it’s plugged in. Another problem is the USB charger. I have to plug it in, unplug it, plug it back in over and over because it doesn’t always charge a completely uncharged battery. I have double checked everything, I treat all of my products very well, everything says Blu is responsible. It is their product that is just awful. I’m going to call them tomorrow and speak to a manager to make sure they take back the cartridges I ordered a couple of days ago because I have had enough fighting with their horrible product. I’m shocked they’re so well known and get good reviews. I’ve had nothing good to say about them since I got these new starter kits. I’m returning it and taking my money elsewhere. What a waste of time.

Blu disappointed me as well, but in the flavors especially. I smoke Marlboro lights, so I went with the classic tobacco. It taste like coffee! I have been trying it for days but can’t get a taste for it, as I hate coffee. In the mean time my green smoke kit came and I loveeee it. Way better flavor, draw and vapor. Sorry blu, been trying to like ya, but green smoke blew ya out if the water. Was worth the extra money. Charger pack and all is neat. Wish I could stomach the taste. Menthol flavor is more like a peppermints sweet too. A little sweet is ok, but blues classic and menthol are both way to sweet to try to go from regular smokes to that. Green smokes absolute is way better in my opinion. And the flavormax carts are amazing. Taste and vapor wise. Hope this helps someone. I knew e cigs would be different from analogs, but dang, blu flavors aren’t even comparable to a cigarette. Maybe pipe tobacco? But not a cig.

The product is great however im a little annoyed about shipping. I mean i live in orlando and they ship from MIAMI which is 4 hours away. IT took them 5 days to get it to me which isnt bad… but i mean its right around the corner for crying out loud. Get my order set up and send one of your bike boys to deliver it dammet! lol. There are people in different states who receive their items in 3 days and im only 4 hours away. My items were not back ordered, and it was shipped the next day.. so im not sure what went on their. I also didnt like the kit.
Draw is to easy.
Taste is not good.
I returned it.
They did include an expired 10% discount coupon though.
When I asked fgor a new coupon, I was told they extended the offer through September, only there were 8 days left in SEptember.
When I asked to get more time for the discount, I was told, sorry wont do it.
All the other negitive stuff in previous reviews appears to verify my feelings about Blu, as a company.

I bought this yesterday and it is not the first e-cigarette I have used. I let it charge fully and took three hits off it and the battery died! It will not charge again and after reading all the reviews on this site, I am afraid to waste my money on another one. I guess I will have to drive an extra 20 miles to get cartridges for the other e-cigarette I have. It hasn’t let me down yet and I have had it for 3 months!

Ok, I really do not believe all of these good reviews for this product. The cartritdges do not last. The smoke is thin and unsatisfying. The product looks great but these e cigs are the worst. Please do not waste your money on them!

I’ve been using V2 for just over 6 months. They’ve been good about replacing defective batteries. The cartridges are Not equilivant to one pack of regular cigarettes. They last for about 5 cigs. When I complained about this, they said that I was just vaping more than I smoked. I measured to see if they were right, but that is not the case. The cartridges just don’t come close to a regular pack. I’ve often gotten DUDs, cartridges that have nothing in them…nothing. My estimate is about 8% of the order is duds. Shipping is somewhat slow. I pay for 2 day shipping which usually takes about 5-7 days. The cartridges are assembled and filled in China. Until I asked on the phone, I had been under the impression that this was a USA product. It’s not.

Customer Service for V2 is amazing. 6 days a week, and you only ever be put on hold for 5 minutes. And, if you dont want to call, they have a live chat feature through their website that always has an operator available during business hours and they are very responsive. You will get an answer to all you questions within two minutes. And, Ive had them replace a defective product for me over the phone with no problems at all. Idk about the past, but I cant see how any company could beat V2 on sustomer service right now. The best they could do is match it… Oh, and the product is the best when it comes to vapor production and flavor quality…

I bought mine this morning and it is working wonderfully so far. Seems like good quality to me at least! No leakage yet and the battery has held up all day. I don’t expect it to taste exactly like a cigarette, but it is somewhat close and it is really cool how it feels like I am really smoking. I have been concerned with my health as well as premature aging and this is my only hope for the moment, until I figure out how not to have the psychological urge to smoke. I think they are great! If I have any future problems I can sure post it, but hopefully that doesn’t happen.

Got this, shipping very fast. Good quality, but didn’t last as long as I thought it would. Didn’t get any premium offersb/c I didn’t do due diligence. I love my blucigs. I can smoke anywhere and it’s lightweight and easily concealed in the pocket of my scrubs. If I have it in my hand people usually just think I am holding an ink pen. I never smell like smoke and neither does my home. If I smoke in the car it will not affect my child or any other passengers. My only complaint is the time it takes to ship. I have to make sure I order at least a week before I run out. Small price to pay, it’s been 5 months since I have had any tobacco cigarettes and no one has died in the process. Now that’s saying something!!!

Firstly, I have recently changed brands of E-Cig due to the horrid quality of this Njoy Npro series.

While I do enjoy that I can walk in to any 7-11 or Racetrack gas station to pick up refills, well ease is not always best.

secondly, let me speak on quality.

Whole the Njoy Npro is vastly larger than most, it does put out a decent amount of vapor, but not as much as one would like.

It was build poorly in my honest opinion.

I boght one, it was working good enough that I stopped smoking real cigerettes I bought another and the case from the site to keep it all in, but soon the first battery broke, always carefull to not over tighten I found the red wire in the battery had seperated from the poorly soldered tip that connects to the cartridge.

I sent it back to the company for the 1 year warrentee and 5 weeks later still nothing, and when I call I get a nice run around.

Now the second one has just broke, I have now lost 2 of these within 3 months.

In all stay away from this brand because at this rate they wont be in business much longer.

The cartridges leak often, if you forget a take a powerfull hit your left with black fluid on your lips and fingers.

The cart overheats far to easily and they do not really last long.

I was a pack a day smoker, if this = 1 pack why do I go through two a day? I dont smoke these anymore than I did my real cigs so what gives!?

There genuine leather case is more like leather printed spandex wrapped around a fairly junky box that rips very easily.

RUN! DO NOT BUY!

I love these! I have tried other brands and had tons of problems! Green Smoke has great flavor, lots of smoke, ships super fast and the quality of the batteries, cartridges and charger are great! I’m going to try to use up the initial purchase, if I think I can. The taste is bad, but acceptable. The problem I’m having is that 2 out of the first 3 cartridges shorted out. The first time it was in my shirt pocket and nearly caused a blister on my chest. The second time I found it shorted out where I laid it down. Both times the heat was enough to cause it to burn a hole in the cartridge. I’m going to try to keep them disconnected when not in use from now on.

I received my product a few weeks ago. After trying some cheep gas station brands this was the closest thing to smoking a real cig.

My only complaint is the cartridges are not equivalent to a pack of cig, not even close, no question about it. With longer lasting batteries coming out, I think its only a matter of time until we see longer cartridges.

I agree with the remark of poor refund policy. Nut also the entire website is poor- can’t view any items unless you order first. No choice in different flavors and cost is very high. Product has to be charged after every use or no vapors are expelled.

The product is fine, seems that it might work well BUT, the first shipment, the kit, got here very fast, 2-3 days. The refills, it has been 8 days and we still have not received it. They say fast shipping and that it goes free and 1st class. They are in Fla, I am in Ga, it should take 2 days 3 max, yea, shipped on the 4th and on the 11th still not here. The get you with that first order and once you have the battery and charger invested, you have to buy their replacement tips. Not sure we will continue to use them, can’t go that long between shipments! They should tell you honestly that it will take a week to 10 days but they lie instead to get your business.

Green Smoke is really a great product. Used Green Smoke for 4 days exclusively. Then smoked my regular brand of cigarettes, Marlboro Red Special Blend. I could not even finish half of the cigarette. It just tasted nasty. The pack of cigarettes is sitting on the table where I normally smoke and I have no desire to smoke them at all. Green Smoke tastes so clean and fresh compared to a real cigarette. I use the Absolute Tobacco, and Red Label flavors. I tried a cheap e-cig sold locally and thought the concept was great but was not satisfied with the flavor or the experience. When online and researched many brands of e-cigs. Green Smoke was consistantly one of the top two recommended brands and now I see why.

Re-Review – After receiving new batteries, the old cartridges did not work in those either so I’m stuck with over half of mine being “duds”. No refunds of course for those. They said $10.00 discount and 15% off next order. Only ordering enough to get me through while I decide where to try next. Spending more is spending less if the cartridges work! I purchased the Travel kit on monday and recieved by mail the following monday. After reading some of the reviews here i thought it would be a good idea to talk to customer service and make sure they had everything in stock before i ordered it. So i checked and they told me they had everything but the portable charging case. i said ok, i can wait for that on back order, no problem. the customer service people were very friendly. So i got the package today and to my suprise the portable charging case was in it. but the car charger was missing with a note of back order for it.. so that was kind of confusing.. As far as the actual product goes, i got one long and one shorty battery 1 manual and one auto, 3 different flavors. everything seems to be working great. They promote the manual battery to give much more vapor but i think the auto is alot easier and gives me more vapor.. the favors are very good and rich. Overall i have no compaints with the products. If you are a newbie searching for your 1st ecig i would reccomend V2 for the good quality product. Make sure before you order to check with customer service and you might really have to interogate them to make sure u get what you want.

I bought this e cigarette from a local 7-11 about 1 month ago. I got the Menthol one and the pack of cartridges which together cost me a little over 40 bucks. I followed the instructions and the very first puff was pretty good. I thought “great” I have a cool alternative if I crave a cigarette!! I never got a lot of vapor EVER and out of the 5 cartridges 1 worked! The others either busted or leaked liquid all in my mouth!! The worst taste ever. Each time I contacted their customer service department and they would have me mail each one back and they would replace it. I did this about 3 times with my own postage. Then the battery would not hold a charge so the rep had me send that back, and Ihad to wait about 5 days to get the replacement. This meant that I had to buy 2 disposable ones which were over 10 dollars each. So far that’s over 60 dollars spent!! I was happy to get the new battery and this one was not holding a charge for longer than 4 hours max! The rep advised me that it is designed to only hold a charge for about that long and that it is not meant to be treated as a cigarette but only to be used in emergancy type situations. Like if you go out to eat and don’t want to excuse yourself from the table but can’t wait for a cigarette either. The customer service was wonderful, but its up to you if you want to chance buying their e cigarette.

I’ve used Blu, V2, and Safecigs. I’m allergic to propylene glycol though and had intense all-over itching from V2 & Safecigs. As far as flavor, Blu is the best. Unfortunately the cartridges don’t las very long, nor do the batteries- or it may be that either one or both of them are weak. There are tiny holes on the cartridge that I line up with the indent on the battery (where the cartridge screws on) and it helps some. The very worst thing about Blu is the customer service. They aren’t interested in repeat customers, there are no discounts, bonus offers, or any type of perk that says ‘we want you as a customer’. Blu’s customer service is obviously no more than a ‘necessary evil’ and there isn’t much effort wasted on customer problems. I shop primarily online, and a large part of the reason I do is the great customer service. Blu is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. That and Blu’s failure to encourage consumer loyalty (it all adds up over time, getting very expensive) with minor discounts once in awhile and being so adverse to the suggestion is the reason I give them 2 stars. The e-cigs are probably the best flavored & safest available but I’d say the president of Blu, Jason Healey, is a boy trying to do a man’s job. Eventually long-time customers will realize they’ve spent way too much on these things and his failure to give a sh*t about customers is gonna bite him in the butt. Hopefully someone at Blu will realize this big company could be outrageously seccussful rather than ‘doing great for now’.

I am 43 years old and have smoked for 27 years. I have tried all the tricks to quit(gum,patch,etc.) nothing really worked to satisfy the feeling of having a smoke. I said years ago if this sort of technology ever became available it would be great. A friend of ours told me about her experience with Green Smoke and I had to try it for myself. I have had it for 4 days now and went from a pack a day to zero. I don’t even think about having to get outside to have one. It took a little getting used to but now that I have the hang of it, it really feels like I am having the real deal. I could not be happier with this product. I am using the strongest menthol dose at the moment but plan to move down a level on my next purchase of cartomizers. I can’t compare it to any other products out there but I can say this product works awesome for me.

South Beach Smoke was the first e-cigarette product I tried and so far I am sticking with them. The product is great and any small problem I have had was fixed the same day by their customer service. I am amazed at how similar their Deluxe e-cigs are to the real thing. I am feel happy and blessed I never have to smoke a real cigarette again.

I bought the standard kit for a friend, though when she received it I used it extensively as well. First, the customer service I experienced was great: The girl on the phone was friendly and helpful, the order was correct (even though it was kind of a custom order) and the delivery was prompt. The product is good, though the menthol cartridges are green, which makes for an odd looking cigarette. Worse, the peppermint ones are pink. I wish they were just white or brown. I purchased the button activated batteries on for both battery packs on the recommendation of the customer service rep (by default it comes with one automatic, one button activated). I can’t comment, then, on the automatic ones but the button activated ones work just fine. I liked the smoke and taste, and there is a bit of a throat hit that is satisfying, though it seems that with the lower nicotine cartridges the throat hit also declines. All in all, I’m happy with the product except, as previously mentioned, the aesthetics.

I have been intrigued by e-cigarettes for quite and while, and when the local gas station had the NJOY Express Mini for $20 I had to try it. I can say this is a terrible product. The first one I bought worked well for about a day and then the battery starting dying very quickly. So, I returned it and got another one. Exact same problem with that one. Most of the cartridges I used leaked, and one even broke apart in my pocket. Do not buy this worthless product. In fact, I would avoid all NJOY products and go for something like Green Smoke or at least Blu.

Just wanted to say that so far the customer service I’ve received has been awesome!! I’m having trouble with my batteries (hoping that’s the issue anyway). Had to reset the automatic to have it keep a charge and both the auto and manual are getting the cartridges too hot. They are burning out. Gone through 14 cartridges in 5 days!!! They are sending me two new batteries and having me hold on to the “bad” cartridges, thinking they will work when I get my new batteries. To get two bad batteries is really rare they said but my order was left outside my door for hours by the carrier on a pretty hot day. We’ll see. Was told if the cartridges I’ve gone through still won’t work they will work something out with me credit wise. Will say I’m still smoking a regular cancer stick on occasion but not letting that disuade me. Was told the batteries can be left on the charger indefinately without hurting them a bit even though the manual says differently. No more waking up with two dead batteries and nothing to smoke! I’m smoking the Congress and like the flavor but will probably try some others assuming customer service stays this good. I received an e-mail the next morning that my order was on the dock, the next day one saying it had been picked up giving me a tracking number and received it in 5 days from literally across the country. Not bad huh? I think they are growing into themselves.

I’d been smoking E-cigs for a while and thought I would try something new because my Blu cigs weren’t drawing very well. As soon as I started vaping Smoke Tips I started getting abdominal pains that felt like ulcers. I tried four different flavors with the same effect. It also felt s little like being poisoned. Smoke Tips don’t taste good at all either. I quite Smoke Tips and tried Green Smokes. The abdominal pains went away and I quit feeling like I was poisoned. And the Green Smokes have a higher nicotin level.

This is my first e-cig, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I haven’t smoked in years, and am using this to replace chewing tobacco. When I did smoke, it was cloves, so having that choice of flavour was essential.
I’m impressed with the vapour, flavor, and everything about it except battery life. Of course I’ve nothing to compare it with as this is the only one I’ve tried, but I do love it. Not a big deal if you have to buy a few extra batteries if you plan to stick with it.

I don’t know about other electronic cigarettes but nJoy has been an absolute life saver for me. I’m in my late 20′s and been a smoker for 9 odd years with many unsuccessful attempts at quitting the stick. This finally did it!! No, I don’t work for them but the product is actually quite well made.
I have no problems with the battery and it’s been six months already. Unfortunately for me, I lost it and I had to buy a new replacement, which to me isn’t that expensive. However, the white striped paint or the finish on the battery started peeling off and started to look ugly. So I scraped them off to reveal the shiny metal underneath and had them polished and works great! The battery holds up pretty good even now.

Here’s a tip on how to avoid getting that nasty nicotine fluid in your mouth: I have found this generally happens when you’re either new to using this stuff or if the cartridge itself is a new one. The key is to smoke (or draw it in) it real slow for the initial couple of puffs. It should be alright after that.
Customer service is good too. When I was a novice user, I had issues with my cartridges and how it leaked in my mouth. They replaced it for me for free after contacting them online. But ever since I got hold of the “right technique”, I have never had to replace any. I guess nJoy has to have this put up on their FAQs or something.
But anyway, my wife and my parents are a lot happier with me quitting the tobacco and I can’t thank these electronic cigarette companies enough, especially nJoy! By the way, if you ever bought that other e-cigarette (black) at 7-11 for $10, you can use that with your nJoy cartridges as a battery replacement. They seem to work just as well and you can save money!!
Oh and this is a great conversation starter too!

I have been purchasing from v2 cigs for about 6 months now. The product is great! The amount of vapor produced is incredible. The flavors are strong. The battery life will last all day or more depending on how much you use it (even with the shorty cig). There are only two issues that I have experienced with v2 cigs and their product. The first is more of an annoyance than a real problem. Every so often you will receive a defective cartridge in your order, where there will be little to no vapor and it is very harsh. I have also noticed that certain flavors produce a lot less vapor than others i.e. cherry or chocolate. My main grievance is the shipping time. I have placed 13 orders over the past 6 months and had the same problem with each. The website states “All “In-Stock” orders are shipped the following business day if received by 6pm on the prior business day.” However this is never the case. When I first started purchasing from the company, orders would take almost a week just to ship. After contacting customer service I was informed that they just didn’t have the production ability (people or space) to keep up with the high demand (understandably so). Now that they have a new website, new building, and more people it has gotten better, but still, they have never shipped next business day. I generally contact customer service after each order I place and I am given the same excuse each time. Due to the high volume of orders, they are backed up on shipping and my purchase will likely ship in a few days. I placed an order on Thursday morning 2 weeks ago and it shipped on Monday. After placing another order this Thursday morning (10:31 a.m. est to be exact) I was told by customer service that it will ship next week sometime. I love their product and that is why I keep coming back, but if I find another company with a similar product that can provide more reliable shipping, I will likely switch.

I’ve also tried GreenSmoke. Smoke-Tip is an inexpensive alternative. Lots of vapor. Great flavor varieties (just love Apple).

The only negative is that the battery live is a little short. Approximately 4 hours, if I’m lucky.

Don’t waste your time. They work great for about a week and then the battery refuses to charge. I’ve have several replacements and they are all junk. They tell you to perform maintenance that does not work. A total waste of money.

I love the V2 flavors, what the company does lack is a high quality in their products. Since using the V2 product line I have had to have 3 batteries replaced and very poor consistancy in the catridges. The cart description says 150-220 puffs. I have yet to even come close to 120 puffs per cart, customer service will somehow try to blame this on the user. They do replace the batteries free of charge which they pretty much have to do if they don’t even last 2 months. Great price and great flavors, but that does’nt cut it for me. Going elsewhere

Love it! I’ve had Greensmoke for two weeks and cut smoking from a pack a day to about 1 pack per week. Unfortunately I did not order enough cartridges initially. Does anyone know if they can be refilled?

I have been using the V2 for about 2 months now and have completely quit smoking regular cigarettes. Some people have had problems with their order but I have not had a delay(they ship within 2 days from when I place my order). My favorite is the Menthol favor.

Read all the reviews..sounds like the early orders when the company was just starting and growing had bad shipping / customer service issues.. I am going to just chalk that up to growing pains.

I gave them a shot, never tried an e-cig before.. long time king full menthol smoker.. bounced back and forth over the years.. started with reds and Lucky’s … past few years Salems.. so I went with the Ultimate kit in menthol..full strength.. I had no intention to quit smoking, but to piss off non smokers in public places ..lolol.. btw, that works hillariously well.. They spent all that time and money making it illegal, and then I show up.. hahahaha

Everything came in about 3 days USPS, except the car charger.. that arrived 4 days later, and they told me that by email about 15 minutes after I ordered it… so no biggy… besides, I dont even need a car charger with all the other chargers I got in the kit..

Lots of vapor, good and strong, and I love the push button battery..that thing is awesome.. I found a trick to the automatic one so I am not taking 2 draws… you can either suck in slow, which will give you a nice mouthfull of vapor, or take your finger and wrap it around the exposed holes that allow air into the unit.. they are located where the flavor cartridge meets the battery.. look close and you see them.. when you cut off the air for some reason it strengthens the process…

I haven’t had any problems that I can see, except having to explain what it is to every bartender and waitress when confronted.. but I get a kick out of that.. especially in stores.. that is even funnier.. to all the non-smokers who spent all that lobby money and all that time protesting, I am glad I am pissing you off.. haahaaa

OK…5 stars is hard to attribute, but let me add some context.
I ordered the Ultimate Kit with 3 different battery specs and 5 diff carts. I placed the order on Wednesday (6 PM PDT) and received the complete and accurate order on Sat at noon (66 hrs later). At least this is one example of V2 doing a great logistics job.
I’ve tested everything and it all works. The hardware reflects very good quality. I would liken the package-opening experience to be something like an Apple product (like – not exactly).
This is my first crack at e-cigs and I am pleased with all the flavors (choc, van, cherry, Red and Sahara). I don’t have a fav yet but I haven’t barfed on any either.
Smoke is very sufficient, especially with the Power Cig and “long” man battery.
So, I have to say, I am VERY satisfied so far. I will update the forum when I have anything to add. If anyone is thinking about V2, I strongly endorse them…so far. Great logistics/customer service, very good product quality and a very descent vapor experience.

I haven’t gotten around to trying any other brands yet (still waiting on the Green Smoke and Blu Cigs starter packs) but Njoy isn’t too bad. I still prefer regular cigarettes but a single pack has lasted me a little less than 2 weeks so far which, considering I’d go through a pack and a half each day, is pretty damn good in my opinion.

I’m not to hot on the taste but it’s not terrible and the convenience of not having to drop whatever I’m doing to step outside earns Njoy 1 star by itself (so it’d be a 2 otherwise).

One thing I’d like to say is that I haven’t had any problems with leaking cartridges or anything else but I suppose I could have just been lucky in that regard.

Overall, Njoy is a decent enough product but nothing spectacular. Better than I had expected though so I’m looking forward to the day I finally get the packages I ordered a week ago (1 to 3 days my ***).

V2 Cigs has significant problems in shipping speeed and accurate customer service. In the face of their tremendous growth they seem to have addressed the problems with extreme policies and red tape. Magnified by their inability to ship on time as promised they do not ship weekends, even with USPS, and orders placed Thursday will not ship Friday by policy. Seems to be management stupidity.
Their batteries do not last the 200 puffs indicated and their cartridges are ABSOLUTELY not equivalent to a pack of cigerettes as promised.
I DEEPLY regret not having gone witth Green Smoke and wish I could trade UP.

I ordered the traveler kit and had my order delivered within 3 days. When they sent an email to let me know that the order had shipped, they also left a message that the car charger was out of stock and would ship soon. When I received the kit – there was a note in there also letting me know that the car charger was back ordered. I thought that the shipping time was fantastic and the communication was very good. I placed my order on Sunday night and it was delivered on Wednesday afternoon. This has made it easier for me to quit smoking considering that I live with a smoker – I just pull out my e cig and I am good to go.

DO NOT BUY. I repeat… DO NOT BUY!!! These are the WORST e-cigs on the market. After just a couple days, when unscrewing the cartridge for a re-charge, it completely came apart and now won’t even work! I had to change to another cartridge and these things are the MOST expensive on the market!!! Aside from this, the taste is HORRIBLE, the battery requires charging constantly, there is barely a throat hit and barely any vap-smoke!!! Please save your $$! I know they are convenient because they are so easily available in many stores/gas stations, but just do a little research & order a better brand online! (This item I am reviewing is the “newer” NJOY “NPRO” 2N1)

The GOOD:

* Includes 2 batteries, wall charger, usb charger, and charger cord for pack.
* Additional cartridges are reasonably priced.
*Fast and Free shipping.
*30 Day Trial and 1 Year Warranty.

The BAD:

* Battery life does NOT last 80-100 “puffs” as stated on website. I appproximate 40-60 “drags” per battery charge.
* The “Java Jolt” cartridges only produced approximately 50 “puffs” per cartridge (advertised to produce 250 “puffs” per cartridge)!
* The pack recharger takes several hours to recharge.
*Customer service e-mail response slow to non-responsive.

The first smoke assist cig worked well. I had it for one week, then I lost it.So they sent me another, defective, did not work.
six more e ciggs arrived from smoke assist. Not one of them worked. I was out almost $100.00 before I gave up.

I bought the NJOY EXPRESS/MINI at a local 7-11. The product works well enough that I have not smoked a regular cig in 4 days. (I was a pack a day smoker beforehand). That being said: I think (and hope) there must be better e-cigs available. The NJOY EXPRESS/MINI’s performance is quite inconsistent. I have experienced many of the same problems others have posted: leaky cartridges, inconsistent cartridge life, and inconsistent battery life. I’d say the product works as it’s supposed to about 65-70% of the time. I bought a backup one because of this…probably should’ve spent the $ on a different e-cig brand, but I was desperate to quit real cigs and wanted to buy some time while I researched other brands. Another very annoying thing about the NJOY EXPRESS/MINI: I can barely use it while driving. Bumps in the road (or even the car stereo) will cause it to start “smoking itself” resulting in killing battery life and wasting cartridge contents. (Also got pretty damn hot!) I watched a video by a gentleman on youtube who suggested getting an e-cig with an on/off button to eliminate the e-cig going on by itself. So I will be looking for another brand of e-cig to stick with, but if you’re desperate to stop smoking NOW, the NJOY EXPRESS/MINI works well enough to use while you’re searching for a better, more consistently performing e-cigarette. When I ordered the starter kit earlier in 2011, It came with the 3-part atomizer-cartridge-battery, and yes, it didn’t “smoke” very well.

However, since Bly introduced the cartomizer, I’ve been very satisfied with them. Although the batteries don’t last long, keeping one charged and in reserve makes it worthwhile.

I stopped smoking real cigarettes using Chantix in combination with the Blu e-cigs, and I don’t use it very much now at all…a couple of times each day.

I’ve been tobacco-free for over 9 weeks (after smoking for 32 years). I never intended to use the e-cigs forever…just until I could get completely free of real cigarettes.

South Beach was my second ecig. I like the taste, but the vapor amount is small and battery doesn’t hold a charge well. It was an afforable purchase and I would recommend for someone on a budget, but if you’re looking for a prime vapor experience, look elsewhere….

I started off with Green Smoke because they had the best review on the web, I found that it was ok but I did not get the kind of vapor that everyone raved about. I also found I had to pull really hard in order to get the nicotine and I also found my throat was irritated with the vapor from Green Smoke but that maybe a personal thing.

Knowing that I didn’t want to go back to smoking I looked around and I found V2 I decided to give them a try so glad I did, after a 3 priming puffs thick vapor and I had the nicotine I wanted. I found the flavors to be much smoother than the Green Smoke as well

I smoked Marlboro lights and hated menthols and to my surprise the best flavor has been the V2 peppermint great smooth taste. So far my service with the company has been good and I hope it continues. I will gradually work my way down to the 0mg nicotine.

Like many others I have tried the patch, gum etc and I have to say unlike with the patch (that BURNS and leaves welts on my skin that itch for weeks afterwards or the gum that makes my jaw ache or the medicine that makes you feel weird) this actually gives me the nicotine without all the other crap.

The best part is that even non smokers don’t notice when I blow smoke I have even caught a few trying to get a whiff of the “smoke” and being confused by not finding an odor. Running up the stairs and fast sprints are now much easier. Glad I found this product. I hope that the FDA regulates e-cigs to ensure quality and safety. This is a much healthier alternative to smoking for oneself and other around you.

Can I give this thing 0 stars? I bought a few of these and some menthol carts from 7-11. The first one I had was good, the carts were also very good. I bought a second battery as a backup this thing doesn’t even charge. Bought another battery / starter kit and the carts were all burnt tasting after 3 drags. I will say when you get a good cart ( 40 percent of the time so far ) the menthol is the best and good vapor, but it is so inconsistent you will waste your money at least two thirds of the time.

I read the good review above and also decided to take a chance. I got them in 3 days with regular USPS shipping, no problems.

It looks nice and sturdy, I got the black battery and it looks awesome. The color of the atomizer/cartridge depends on what flavor you order – menthol is green and sahara looks like a camel filter. It does feels top-heavy because the battery is at the end. It takes some getting used to, it’s not really that bad at all but I do miss the feeling of having a lighter cigarette between my fingers.

It tastes great. Honestly it’s not exactly like a cigarette – it feels more like hookah imo. Menthol was sweet, maybe a bit too much but smooth. I like the Sahara one a lot too. The manual button gives you full control over the thickness and size of your hit.

The website is somewhat confusing to use. When you order, there’s a box for ‘other comments’, but they don’t ask you about some of the options you have (such as having an automatic or manual battery). It’s not very clear, so make sure you click the V2 Batteries link on the left and clearly read the descriptions for the LED color options you have.

Overall, pretty happy. I’m worried I’ll start smoking more often because I can just pull it out of my pocket, but I’m planning to switch to the nicotine-free ones which is great. I’d definitely recommend getting these.
